After applications are thoroughly reviewed, including Global and District Matching, requests go to the Club and Foundation Boards for approval. Recently two teams, supported by grants and led by Beaverton Rotarians, traveled to rural Uganda. One with dental personnel to treat residents and promote dental hygiene. The other team brought seeds compatible with the land for women farmers and advice on growing techniques for better sustainability.
