On Saturday, April 26th, the Beaverton Rotary Foundation hosted its annual Dinner & Auction at the Portland Golf Club. The evening brought together 115 Rotarians, friends, and family for a night filled with laughter, community spirit, and outstanding jazz music.
Guests enjoyed bidding on 55 silent auction items and an exciting live auction, with offerings for every interest. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and donors, the event raised more than $56,000 to support the vital work of Beaverton Rotary in the local community.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by a talented jazz ensemble featuring Lori Boone on vocals, with Vince Frates on piano, Ron Steen on drums, and Perry Thoorsell on bass.
A highlight of the night was hearing from two former scholarship recipients, Hadar Yizhaki and Whitney Dobbyns, who shared how Rotary funding helped them pursue their educational and professional goals.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the event’s success—especially Portland Golf Club, Eola Wines, Summit Bank, and our generous anonymous donors.
Save the Date: Next year’s Dinner & Auction is set for Saturday, April 18th, 2026—mark your calendar for an unforgettable evening of fun and philanthropy!
